More Projects
A curated look across 3D product visualization, promotional mobile games, and some company swag that drove more booth visits than our product itself.
Art direction that improved app performance
The Toys R Us AR catalog app was nearly finished when we discovered it was running painfully slow on mobile devices. When backend fixes failed, I proposed stripping out digital lights and painting lighting information directly into the base textures instead. The app ran perfectly and most users couldn't tell the difference. This approach became the foundation for every real-time project that followed. Getting to work on Geoffrey Giraffe and Darth Vader was an added bonus.
I was impressed by his hard work and attention to detail as he managed a large amount of content. Even during stressful times, he was approachable and had a positive attitude.

Storyboards that cut rework and doubled output
Before a single asset gets built, everyone needs to share the same vision. At MindForge, I introduced storyboarding as a formal pre-production step, giving developers, designers, and artists a concrete visual blueprint instead of a written plan to interpret. We cut down on revisions and grew output from 2 courses a year to 6–8.
Digitally visualizing client products
Large industrial equipment doesn't fit in a trade show bag. At Communication Exhibits I helped build interactive 3D visualization apps for clients like GE and ThyssenKrupp — letting sales teams demonstrate complex products through immersive mobile experiences without needing the physical thing present. The GE mining motors app earned a Judges' Choice Award for B2B Interactive Media.
The work expanded from there: furniture, radios, jumper cables, prosthetic limbs — if a client needed it visualized, we built it.
Matt is a tremendous talent. He has a bright future ahead of him.

Swag that started a word-of-mouth campaign
A branded enamel pin became something nobody planned for. Attendees wore it immediately, and others tracked down our booth just to get one. One person stopped to tell us it looked like someone they knew. That's a brand moment that surpasses any standard giveaway.
4.6 million views — no paid promotion
My independent comic strip series has reached over 4.6M organic views and 87K+ upvotes on Reddit — starting hundreds of real conversations from people who recognized something familiar in the work. Finding the idea that makes people stop and say “Yes, exactly!” is the kind of instinct I bring to every project. The right idea finds its audience regardless of the resources behind it.
